OPENING OF LEIGHTON HOUSE

The Official Opening of Leighton House took place on 14th
May and was a great success. We were extremely please
to have Ann Leighton come on the day to unviel the plaque. Deputy
Lord Major - Mike Sharpe and his
wife Thelma Sharpe also
attended the event.

Four weeks later Headway held an Open
Day which raised over £1500. All the staff worked
really hard and produced a day to remember. Noddy
Holder cut the ribbon and stayed for the whole day chatting,
signing autographs and having photographs taken. Duo Stilo
Antico played an acoustic set during the day there was
an array of stalls, games, food and plenty for the kids. Over
200 people came and went throughout the day and the sun
kept his hat on!

SPONSORED WALK
Six staff members from Social Rehab services walked over
10 miles after work one very hot Friday evening to raise
money for Headway West Midlands. They raised a few
eyebrows along the way and managed to collect a brilliant £1000
in sponsorships. Well Done girls!
